World Atopic Eczema Day: Our Skin, Our Journey

GPER builds resources by parents for parents, creating for the next generation what we wish we had when our kids were diagnosed with eczema.

The GPER Journey…

Our Eczema Heroes

We’re celebrating patients and parents who have turned their struggles into solutions. These “eczema heroes” inspire us by transforming challenges into hope for the community.

Celebrating World Atopic Eczema Day

Eczema isn’t just itch – it’s late nights spent tossing and turning, showers that feel like needles, endless doctor visits, and the sometimes helpless feeling that all efforts to make it go away don’t work at all.

Children and families impacted by eczema often bond over these common hardships and find solace in the community, where they can find people who “get it.”

September 14th — World Atopic Eczema Day — is a special day to celebrate this strong community.

This year, we’re excited to amplify the stories and innovations from real eczema patients and caregivers who have channeled their challenges with eczema into solutions for the broader community.

The core pillar of our work is always asking “what’s next?” What can we bring to parents, to patients, and to the research that will advance innovation and help us find a cure for eczema?

These eczema heroes — and so many more — are part of the movement that will help get us there. Join us!
